Our New Website is Live!

Last week, we launched a newly-designed website with a modern look and enhanced features to improve communication with parents, staff, students, and the community.

The new homepage remains at www.ggusd.us, and features an at-a-glance navigation tool; rotating images that showcase important information, news, or upcoming events; videos; a calendar; an e-newsletter sign-up box; and large buttons that take you to important documents like the district’s strategic plan.

The website content is categorized by its intended audience so that GGUSD parents, students, and staff can easily locate the information they need.  It also features a responsive design for those who access the website through mobile devices.  (See image on the left for a snapshot of the mobile view)  The district’s diverse population can use its Google Translate feature to view the website in other languages.

The new website is a work in progress and we will continue to make improvements.  To report a problem with the website or to offer a suggestion, please fill out our feedback form.

Please be sure to update any bookmarks you have saved to content on our old website.

SCHOOL PRIDE

Heritage Elementary School took to Twitter to show their school pride.

Principal Michelle Pinchot shared photos of  sixth grade students teaching first grade students key math concepts through technology, as well as other photos of engaged students and a supportive school culture.  These awesome highlights were part of the #LoveofMySchoolDay campaign.
