"When I was in prison . . ."

On April 4, Episcopal Charities and Trinity Wall Street hosted a roundtable discussion for parishes engaged in criminal justice ministry. The conversation was a first step in exploring a future grantmaking partnership to address needs of people in prison, citizens returning to society, and their families. Read more about what we discovered, and e-mail us if your parish is also involved in, or interested in, criminal justice outreach or advocacy.

Episcopal Charities Sunday

Each year on Episcopal Charities Sunday, congregations take up a special collection to fight hunger around the Diocese of New York. Contributions are distributed to the food pantries and community kitchens supported by Episcopal Charities.

Many parishes will participate on Mother's Day, May 14. Others may pick a different date. Information packets are being mailed to each parish this week. Let us know if your congregation is joining the effort by registering here
