Worship: Sundays @ 8:15, 9:40, 11:00 am | Wednesdays @ 6:35 pm
"7 Next Words"
"The Seven Last Words of Christ"...On Good Friday, churches often focus on those seven phrases Jesus spoke from the cross, his "last" words. Rarely though do we focus on the things that Jesus said after the resurrection. Like the Seven Last Words, these seven next words or conversations offer insight into the mind and heart of Jesus as he consoled, encouraged, and prepared his followers for ministry to the world.

This Sunday, we'll begin a worship series on the "7 Next Words" as we take a look at those powerful encounters and what author Shane Stanford calls the Seven Next Words of Christ. These "next words" are living words that leave us listening for what Christ will say to us today. Please join us in worship these next 7 weeks and invite a friend to come with you who might need to hear a word of hope and inspiration.

  • See "Making a Difference with Children & Youth" for ways to volunteer with the Kids Count after school program and with Howard Bishop Middle School.
  • Look at "Offering Hospitality" for opportunities that include organizing a meal for the LOF youth group and putting together personal item bags for children.
  • Check out "Helping Enhance Faith Mission's Facility" to find identifying opportunities where creativity is needed!
Take a look and see if there's something that moves you to get connected with Faith Mission, and if you have any questions please feel free to reach out to Ward anytime.
