On The Home Front
PLEASE ASK YOUR MEMBER OF CONGRESS TO COSPONSOR HR 1699! IT ONLY TAKES A FEW MINUTES!

With just a couple of clicks, you can ask your Representative in Congress to cosponsor HR 1699, the Preserving Access to Manufactured Housing Act. About 700emails have been sent over the past two weeks, but we need more. Special Legislative Session
At some point this year, Governor Bevin will be calling a Special Session on Tax Reform.  Betty Whittaker. KMHI, and Leigh Ann Thacker, Top Shelf Lobby, have already met with the Governor's Budget Director and Policy Advisor on the inequity of sales tax on manufactured housing.  We plan to be a very strong voice during the Tax Reform process to try hard to get sales tax relief for manufactured housing in Kentucky.  We will keep you posted and we may need your help once again with texts, phone calls, and emails.
