Give us a hand with a Red Hands Campaign exercise and the Annual Meeting
Be There - Sunday, February 12th

Red Hand Day
You are invited to join us for fellowship and an exercise to commemorate Red Hand Day, an annual day on which pleas are made to political leaders around the world to draw attention to, and call for action against, the fates of child soldiers--children who are forced to serve as soldiers in wars and armed conflicts.

First Pres will again be tracing our hands on paper and writing messages about the use of child soldiers, which we then sent to the Presbyterian Ministry at the UN.
Lynn Greibling Anthem
Also during worship, the Praise and Thanksgiving anthem that Lynn Greibling wrote when she was at East High School, will be sung in her honor.
Annual Congregational Meeting
The congregation's annual meeting will be held after worship. Members and friends are invited to enjoy a cup of coffee as they hear year-end summaries and future goals from various committee chairpersons, review our financial stewardship of the past year and our budget for the New Year, and, of course, discuss hopes and dreams for the church.T his is your opportunity to reflect on our mission!
Don't miss this special day!
