Habitat for Humanity builds/rehabs and repairs homes with needy children and their families - why?

Because seven out of 10 children living in single-parent homes are living in poverty. Because school performance dramatically improves for children living in a Habitat home. Because a good education lifts people out of poverty and a home is the key.

Donate now to build homes and help break the cycle of poverty with children and their families.

More than 150 faith groups, businesses, civic and social organizations are partnering with Habitat for Humanity, yet more are needed. Your group can build with Habitat. We are currently scheduling groups for the summer and fall. Please visit our website and sign up your group.

Volunteers are the heart and hands of Habitat for Humanity. Volunteers will build/rehab 4 homes this year and complete 40 home repairs projects with families and seniors in need of affordable housing. National Volunteer Week celebrates the American spirit of volunteerism. Visit our website to learn how you can volunteer!

Habitat for Humanity converts your gently used furniture, appliances and households goods into homes. Your donation to the ReStore will help us build and/or repair homes with families and seniors in need of affordable housing. We also offer a pick-up service for larger items. To arrange for a pick up, please visit our website or call 803-324-1960.
A huge thank you to Publix for their grant of $80,000 to build the first of four homes this year. A big thank you to Jonas, store manager at the Publix store on Cherry Road Rock Hill, and all of the associates who are building with Habitat.
