- Round 2 Allocation Update -
Please see below for an update on Round 2 allocations from the CDE.

"A thorough review of all CTEIG grantees' data was conducted by the Career Technical Education Administration and Management Office. This included detail analysis of the CTEIG grantees' progress report, financial report, and the previous grant year matching funds. During this analysis Round 2 allocations were adjusted according to the most recent data." - Carolyn Zachry, Administrator

Our Administrator is finalizing Round 2 allocation letters to those within our consortium. Please look out for details soon.

For those outside our consortium, you should have received an email from Carolyn Zachry with your Round 2 allocation. If you did not, please contact Carolyn at CTEIncentive@cde.ca.gov.
 

The CTE Course of Study provides instructional leaders with a practical, step-by-step guide for leading program development. Webinar participants will receive a copy of the CCSESA CISC CTE Course of Study and understand its structure, learn how to use the resources in this guide to develop a comprehensive CTE plan and review current & updated resources relevant to developing a High Quality CTE Program plan. Your Region 4 CTEIG Technical Assistance Provider, Office of Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, will be conducting a FREE one-day workshop at Merced County Office of Education on April 28, 2017 from 8:30am - 3:00pm. This comprehensive workshop will provide an overview of industry certifications.

Calling all business, industry, and Marketing & Business teachers in Southern California!
 
Anaheim, California will host DECA's International Career Development Conference for leadership and competitive events on April 28-29, 2017. Judges are needed!!!
 
DECA is a Career Technical Student Organization for high school students that promotes emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in the fields of marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.
 
Our very own California pipeline of future Marketing and Business leaders will test their skills against the rest of the nation and global competitors.
 
To make a direct impact on our future Marketing and Business leaders and to take part in this exciting event, register to be a DECA judge today!
   
Attention CTEIG grantees: DECA is a Career Technical Student Organization recognized by the California Department of Education and is CTEIG fundable. For new CTE Marketing, Business, and Hospitality Management programs or for those programs that may not have participated in DECA before, CTEIG funds may be used to pay for substitutes and travel of CTE Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management teachers to help cover the cost of participating in Anaheim as a DECA Judge.

Click here to view a copy of the updated CBEDS/CALPADS codes for CTE courses for the 2016-17 school year. The two industry sectors that have changes are Ag & Natural Resources and Arts, Media and Entertainment.

The 13 remaining sectors will be updated and ready to use July 1.
