USC Hillel is committed to fostering meaningful relationships among Jewish Trojans and connecting students to Jewish life on campus. Sometimes this simply means throwing a party for all Jewish Trojans. On November 29th, USC Hillel held its annual Hanukkah blow out, bringing together 200 students for latkes, dancing, dreidel, and a photo booth! Jennifer Korn, class of 2020, transformed USC Hillels main program space into a neon dance floor, while Alex Zirin, class of 2018 and infamous ΣΑΜ DJ, provided the music. By creating a Big Tent Judaism event, or a program that has the ability to serve all who attend regardless of where they may be on their religious journeys, USC Hillels Hanukkah party brought together Jewish Trojans from different niches and social circles, showing off USCs diverse Jewish community. By donating to USC Hillel you can help build community for all types of Jewish Trojans, like the students you see here! |
