Passover Schedule
Passover is quickly approaching. Make sure you make a note of service times throughout the week. Some highlights:
  • Monday morning, April 10 (after services - Siyyum Bekhorot, break the fast of the first born)
  • Monday, April 10 - Finish Eating Chametz by 11:00 am; Sell and Burn Chametz by 12:07 pm
  • Monday, April 10 - Beth El offices close at 3:30
  • Monday night, April 10 - 1st Seder
  • Tuesday and Wednesday, April 11 and 12 - Services at 9:00 am and Beth El offices closed
  • Tuesday, April 11 - Beth El Hosts 2nd Seder: "Refugee Stories", led by Rabbi Davis and Cantor Abrams at 7:30 pm that will feature human rights advocate and Yemini refugee, Zaynab Abdi. Abdi has shared her story at the UN as a Malala Fund Youth Advocate. Contact Jill Blustin for space availability. 
  • Sunday, April 16 - Special Young Families Live Action Passover Production and Matzah Brei lunch following
  • Monday and Tuesday, April 17 and 18 - Services at 9:00 am and Beth El offices closed
  • Tuesday, April 18 - Yizkor
Passover ends on Tuesday, April 18 at 8:45 pm. Chametz can be consumed shortly thereafter.

Transfer of Memory - An Art Exhibition

A contemplative, slow, quiet and mindful experience, centered around the prayers of the morning service. Enrich Shabbat with an open heart, a sense of gratitude and a deeper connection to God. Facilitated by Cantor Abrams.
This exhibition illustrates Holocaust survivors living in Minnesota, in their homes, in full color. As a collection, these images focus on life and hope. Their lives are constant reminders about the value of freedom and the enduring human spirit.

B'nai Mitzvah families will be packing 613 toiletry bags to distribute to the homeless by "The Sandwich Guy," Allan Law. Consider donating travel size toiletries (many more toiletries needed): mints, toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, shampoo, bodywash, deodorant, chapstick, all-purpose wipes, combs, brushes, socks.
