The Sunday of the Passion: Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday is the start of Holy Week as we live, learn, mark and inwardly digest the journey that Jesus made to the Cross which started with his triumphant entry into Jerusalem. This is the week to deeply experience what God has done and is doing for all of us through his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Liturgy of Palms will begin in Hovde Hall. Come one, come all as we journey through the life, death and resurrection of Christ this Holy Week.

Last Sunday to sign up for Easter Lilies
If you have not yet signed up for this year's lilies, please do so this Sunday. The sign up sheet is in the Narthex and you will need to indicate if you are dedicating the flower in memory of someone or in thanksgiving for something or someone. The cost of each plant is $12. Please make your check payable to COTA and indicate "for lilies".
Plants will be delivered on Thursday, April 14, and will be displayed for our enjoyment on Easter Sunday.

A Bit of Humor from Rachael
Grandpa was always going on about the good old days, and the lower cost of living, in particular. "When I was a kid, my mom could send me to the store, and I'd get a salami, two pints of milk, 6 oranges, 2 loaves o' bread, a magazine, and some new blue jeans...all for a dollar!!"
Then Grandpa said sadly, "You can't DO that anymore.....they got those video cameras everywhere you look."

Larry's class were on a field trip to their local police station where they saw pictures tacked to a bulletin board of the 10 most wanted criminals.
One of the youngsters pointed to a picture and asked if it really was the photo of a wanted person.
'Yes,' said the policeman 'The detectives want very badly to capture him.
Larry asked, "Why didn't you keep him when you took his picture ?
