I would like to invite you to the Middle School Spirit Day on April 10th in our school gym at 7:45am.  Come into the gym, have a cup of coffee and celebrate your Middle School student's Third Quarter achievements.  I look forward to seeing you!

The parish will be celebrating their Spring Fiesta on May 13th. This is the parish's largest fundraiser.   The parish supports our school in many ways especially offering tuition support and investing in our students' education.
Please pick up your raffle tickets after mass this weekend to help support St. Stephen's.

Accreditation week is over!  A HUGE THANK YOU to all the students and staff for a job well-done.  The whole community did such an awesome job welcoming the committee and answering their questions promptly when approached.

Here are the Strengths the team had to say about our school:
  • There is commitment from the teaching staff connecting their instruction to the standards.
  • The school environment is rich with literacy to promote student learning.
  • The school community is a positive environment and a welcoming place.
  • Our facilities are well maintained.

We will receive the full report in a couple of weeks and I will share an update of the key findings and the status for our renewal.

Thank you for all of your prayers and your continued support.   I am grateful to be part of such a warm and caring community - THANK YOU! To show my appreciation AND to celebrate this wonderful week of Accreditation, let's all be OUT OF UNIFORM tomorrow, Friday, April 7!

God bless,

Diane Morri

Reading/Math Classes Offered
Summer 2017 Reading and Math Classes

It's important to schedule reading and math practice in the summer to prevent summer loss.  Research shows that most young people experience this learning loss when they do not engage in educational activities during the summer months.  To keep your child refreshed in academic basics, enroll them in summer reading and math classes at St. Stephen's School with Mrs. Tyminski and Mrs. Lysdahl.  We will offer one hour classes each in reading and math, grouped according to grades:  Kindergarten; 1st-2nd Grades; and 3rd - 5th grade.  The classes will be held on Tuesdays in June and July.  For further information please contact either:

Lenten Corner
During this month we consider young people and how God calls them personally to live out their faith in a particular way according to their state in life. God calls some to the vocation of ordained ministry and religious life. May all young people be open to God's call in their life, whatever that may be.  For more information on this article, please click on the link below:
