Last month Georgia State Senator Renee Unterman was honored at the 2017 Thanks A Million Gala.  The evening was emceed by Jocelyn Dorsey of WSB-TV, and actor Michael  Kelly, whose series "The Long Road Home"

premiered on the National Geographic channel two days before the Gala. 

The Senator's family and friends from across the southeast came to celebrate her accomplishments and help raise more than $100,000 to support seniors. Silent Auction sponsors donated great items ranging from African photo safari trips, an Atlanta Falcon's jersey signed by Matt Ryan, Katy Perry concert tickets, restaurant gift certificates, and museum memberships.
