Mary Finley from St. Katherine School in Wayne received a surprise visit to receive her Carroll scholarship.

It’s not every day the president of Archbishop John Carroll High School and the Patriot school mascot show up at a students’ doorstep, but that’s exactly what happened Dec. 8, when Francis E. Fox ’77, led a team from Carroll Admissions to personally award scholarships to eighth graders who will be enrolling at the school in September 2018. Read more
The Student Assistance Program (SAP) at Carroll ensures that students experiencing barriers to learning are identified and linked to appropriate supportive services in the school and community. SAP is a voluntary & non-disciplinary program.

One of the ways that SAP can support your child is through psycho-educational support groups. Groups such as grief and loss, stress management, dealing with divorce, resiliency skills and anger management, provide students with a safe space to learn and practice coping skills in a confidential setting with peers while also educating them with the tools necessary to thrive despite their challenges.

Groups typically run one class period per week for eight to 10 weeks. All groups all facilitated by Marguerite DiMattia, the SAP Liaison from Caron Treatment Centers.

For more information about Carroll’s Student Assistance Program (AFFIRM), please contact Ms. DiMattia at  mdimattia@jcarroll.org
