CMH Summer Lunch & Learn Miniseries - Health Literacy June 9 

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) will host a free Lunch and Learn seminar regarding Health Literacy on Friday, June 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the CMH Community Rooms located at 1500 N. Oakland, Bolivar.  Information will be presented by the CMH Healthcare Marketplace department and the Cover Missouri Coalition.

 Lunch and Learn participants will learn the value of health by using a health wheel and SMART goals. Presenters will also discuss: health care resources; provider vs. ER; questions to ask your doctor; how to share costs with your insurance company; reading your insurance card; and understanding your EOBs. Lastly, knowing the importance of understanding health care language will be reviewed—glossary of health care and medical terms.

 A light lunch will be served and reservations are requested. Seating is very limited.
