Dear Volunteers,

As our community grows, our volunteer opportunities grow as well. Our monthly volunteer newsletter serves as a way to communicate new and existing opportunities, upcoming volunteer events, new updates about the volunteer process, and volunteer highlights.

Thank you for volunteering with Rainbow Village. We are grateful for your time, talents, and passion to make our community a better place to live.

Sincerely,
Rainbow Village Inc.

NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK

April 23rd- April 29th

National Volunteer Week is an opportunity to recognize and thank volunteers who lend their time, talent, voice and support to causes they care about in their community.

During National Volunteer Week, we will be honoring volunteers who serve in various programs within our organization. Additionally, we will be having our Annual Volunteer Impact Reception on April 26, 2017.  Please RSVP HERE

Volunteers are especially needed to sponsor and host games, booths, and giveaways. (i.e. dunking booths, space jumps, and etc.)

Summer Lunch Program 2017

When school is in session, the students of Rainbow Village's After School Program are provided a free or reduced-price wholesome lunch at school. However, during the summer they may not have access to this meal, or at least not a wholesome one. The summer lunch program ensures that kids have a lunch for summer camp and are maintaining a nutritious and wholesome diet throughout the summer.

This is an ideal team building project to engage organizations, employees, and anyone wanting to contribute to the Summer Lunch Program. Once items are collected off site by volunteer groups, volunteer groups will also distribute lunches to the families on the Tuesday in which they signed up for.
