Spotlight: Growth coming to Shamrock

Augusta County's designation as a food processing mecca is growing in strength as Shamrock Farms announces its first expansion since opening its doors in the County in October 2014. The milk manufacturing facility will create more than 70 new jobs and invest more than $40 million into its Verona plant all while committing to source an additional $24 million in Virginia milk. This investment in Virginia milk quadruples Shamrock Farms purchases of Virginia agricultural products. What a great nod to the strong manufacturing and agriculture roots we have in Augusta County!

Shamrock Farms products include Rockin' Refuel protein beverages, mmmmilk, and a new product - Cold Brew Coffee and Milk. If you eat lunch at Subway or Chick-fil-A or regularly shop at Kroger and buy milk, you've likely purchased a Shamrock Farms product!
