Commemorating the Holocaust with 7th Grade
Bet Torah Community Yom HaShoah Commemoration 
Sunday, April 23, 9:45 -10:45 a.m.

We will join together through music, poetry and reflection to mourn and commemorate the loss. The service is not only a tribute to those who perished in the Shoah but will also include inspirational readings from the extraordinary congregant survivors and/or members of their families. 

Family members of survivors will light yahrtzeit candles in memory of the six million Jews who died in the Holocaust.  This program will feature art and poetry by the Zayin class. Religious school students younger than 5th grade may attend with parents.
Meeting Hate with Humanity
The Holocaust 75 Years Later 
Sunday, April 23, 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  

Explore the lessons from the Holocaust we can apply to combating hate and standing up for justice today. Learn about Jewish life before, during and after the Holocaust with Robin Wald.
Talk by Holocaust Survivor
Tuesday, April 25, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

This program is for adults and youth in 5th-7th grade. Religious school students younger than 5th grade may attend with parents. Speaker to be announced soon. 
Field Trip to the Museum of Jewish Heritage 
Sunday April 30, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Created as a living memorial to those who perished during the Holocaust, the museum honors those who died by celebrating their lives--cherishing the traditions that they embraced, examining their achievements and faith, and affirming the vibrant worldwide Jewish community that is their legacy today. 

Tour the museum with Loen Amer and amazing museum educators.  Register to participate and volunteer to chaperone now! Bus transportation and lunch included.
