Important Information for Seniors!
Although we value the privileges our seniors enjoy at LFHS, we remain responsible for knowing where all of our students are during the day. Our students are our #1 priority and we want to ensure they are safe and accounted for while being respectful of their privileges.
Beginning Monday, April 10, it will be important for all seniors to have and carry a LFHS student ID card.
It will be important that our students scan into spaces they might go into when not in class, such as the Library, Resource Centers, the Commons, etc. If they leave one location to visit a different location, they will be asked to scan into the new location. In the event of an emergency, this process assures we can account for all students. This process also allows us to accurately record students' daily attendance at school.
It is also important that students check out at the desk located by the West Commons doors, if they leave campus. Of course, we will continue to honor passes and permissions to leave campus, but we will expect students to check out with us before leaving so we are aware that they have left school.
If your student does not have an ID or has misplaced the ID, they can obtain one at the Help Desk located in the basement level of the school. We will waive all fees associated with obtaining the first additional copy of their ID.
As a reminder, students need parental permission to obtain an off-campus pass. If your student has not picked up their off-campus pass, please remind them to pick it up in the Dean's Office.
