We are very pleased to announce that
Dr. Scott Kaatz will assume the role of AC Forum president later this month.
He will take the reins from Dr.
Mark Crowther
, who has led the board for the past four years. We are indebted to Mark for his
leadership and dedication as president and glad that he will remain on the board as an
ex officio
member. We will be in excellent leadership hands with Scott, who
has a history of involvement in the AC Forum dating back to the first national conference in 1991.
In addition, AC Forum is thrilled to welcome 4 new board members who will officially join our team at our national conference. We welcome:

Charles Pollack, MD, Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, PA
Sara Vazquez, PharmD, University of Utah Health Care Thrombosis Center, Salt Lake City, UT
With experience in hospital systems management, emergency medicine, anticoagulation research and clinical management, the new board members will strengthen the depth and breadth of the board.
As these changes happen, two members will transition off the board. We thank
Dan Witt, PharmD, and
Terri Schnurr, RN, for their valuable work for the AC Forum. We appreciate the expertise and hard work they have given to AC Forum, and are thrilled that they will stay connected to the AC Forum as members of our Advisory Council.
