Increase efficiency & save money!
Insulating your home well leads not only to reduced energy demand and increased comfort and noise reduction, but also cost savings for decades. Now, Efficiency Maine is offering up to $2000 in incentives for air sealing and home insulation: $500 for the attic, $500 for exterior walls, and $500 for basement. For optimal energy efficiency, your home should be insulated from the roof down to the foundation. When insulation is properly installed, heating systems run less frequently, helping to reduce on-going energy expenses while meeting home heating and cooling needs. Because you know, it'll be warm here soon!
You can also save up to $750 on heat pump water heaters and ductless heat pumps and up to $3000 on wood or pellet boilers and geothermal systems. Check out
