A Message From Our President
Happy April! I hope you will all join me in celebrating autism awareness and acceptance all month long. We have many special events planned for April, so please be sure to check them out!
Starting with our evening with Michael and Marti Parry on Friday, April 7th, we will be fundraising for our programs while having a good time with with friends and community members. On Sunday, April 9th, be sure not to miss the 15th Annual Splash for Cash Pool Party and Fundraiser. This event is great family fun day, and if you have fundraised at least $250, you can also get priority registration for our very popular Surf Camp on the day of the event.
The San Diego Gulls are having a special night on April 15th to celebrate autism awareness with us. Come join us for a fun time, and get the chance to be entered to win a ride on the zamboni during the game!
Finally, as we approach our Annual Meeting in June, that means we are recruiting board members for the 2017-2018 board year. I invite you to consider joining us in working to make a difference in the lives of autistic people and their families. Our board is an all volunteer, working board, and is a great way to give back to our local autism community. We would love to have you join us!
Wishing you a happy April,
Amy Munera
