What an event we experienced on Saturday evening! Our annual gala was a huge success! We had a full house, delicious food, a wide variety of items in the silent auction, a dynamic live auction and, most importantly, an evening of friendship and fellowship. Thanks mainly to the efforts of our co-chairs, Michele Robbins, Eileen Bliss and Heather Terreri, and their amazing committee of Rachel Kramer, Sharon Driscoll and Cathy Seangio. We also know that they could not have accomplished all of this without the support of their families, so a huge shout-out to all of their families. We will have final numbers next week.
Congratulations:
to Thomas Nguyen who represented St. Ambrose School at the National Geographic Bee at Longwood University on Friday. We are so proud of him! And to our Advanced Band who got a "Superior" rating at the annual diocesan band competition. This is the highest rating possible. Under the direction of Mr. Mark Sawasky, we are so proud of them. What great school ambassadors we have!
This Saturday, April 8th, we are having the annual St. Ambrose Spring Clean-up and we would love your help in this endeavor! Once again this year, we will have groups from the Scouts, the Knights and the St. Ambrose school community participating. Under the direction of Bill Yaglou, we will work to spruce up the church and school grounds. Together, we will be able to accomplish much! Our Weekend WorkCamp group will gather for 9am Mass to pray for our school and parish family, then we will head to the gym to grab donuts and break into work crews. We will work until 12:30 pm. You are most welcome to join us for this time or to plan your group's service hours as needed. We are looking forward to working side by side with all of you in this generous service to St. Ambrose!
Join our parish on Palm Sunday evening for Eucharistic Adoration, meditation and music with renowned Irish Tenor, Mark Forrest. It begins at 7:30 pm.

A Knight Around the World Gala
Thank you to all who supported our annual Gala to make it a tremendous success. We had a sold out event! People enjoyed mingling as they sampled food and beverages from around the world. There was fierce competition at the bidding tables and the energy at the live auction was palpable with our fast talking auctioneer. Read all about it next week in our upcoming final Gala Buzz edition where we will highlight our final fundraising total for our great school.
