We had a very exciting podcast experience a few weeks ago. My Boiling Point Podcast co-host, Greg Hemmings and I were granted media passes to interview Craig Kielburger during WE Day in Halifax.
Clockwise from top: Liam & I, Liam at the event, Kaiya arriving & the WE Day stadium.
Craig is one of the co-founders of WE Day, a celebration that empowers a generation of young people committed to making a difference.
The coolest part of the experience was watching Greg's daughter Kaiya and my son, Liam, ask Craig questions as our special co-hosts.
The kids that filled the Halifax stadium that day were part of WE Schools, a yearlong program that nurtures compassion in young people and gives them the tools to create change in their local and global communities.
Craig shared what inspired him to start WE Day and discussed how WE Day has grown into what it is, and how it is continuing to grow while making a positive impact on the world.
