A Worthy Goal
RSDM, NJMS team up for Smiles Across Bangladesh

Since 2012, the School of Dental Medicine and New Jersey Medical School have battled each other on ice for a worthy cause.  This year, they competed just as fiercely. NYU perio students visited RSDM for last month's forum
RSDM Hosts Regional Perio Forum

Last month, RSDM hosted the Metropolitan Periodontal Forum for post doctorate perio students at Rutgers, Columbia and NYU Universities. According to Dr. Andrew Sullivan, chair of RSDM's Department of Periodontics, the forum provides a valuable opportunity for postdoctoral students to present research and other work to their peers. "It allows them to network and develop skills that can prepare them to present on a much higher level,'' he said. "It's tremendous value and we make it a requirement for all graduates. We've had comments  from past participants about how it allowed them to do future presentations on a national and international scale that they otherwise would never have imagined.''
