GW Cancer Center Associate Director Mandi Chapman to Keynote at New Hampshire Comprehensive Cancer Collaboration 12th Annual Meeting

Mandi Pratt-Chapman, Associate Director at the GW Cancer Center spoke at the 12th Annual New Hampshire Comprehensive Cancer Collaboration. Here she presented the Survivorship Care Planning Provider Survey. During the presentation she discussed identifying survivorship standards of care, current survivorship care planning practices, and identifying strategies to improve the provisions of survivorship care services.

A Dyadic Exercise Intervention to Reduce Psychological Distress Among Lesbian, Gay and Heterosexual Cancer Survivors

One of our latest research findings features a study of whether exercise can improve the health and well-being of cancer survivors and their caregivers. It focuses on the current state and future outlook of the impacts can have on lesbian and gay cancer survivors and their heterosexual counterparts. Read more of the detailed research findings.

HPV Vaccination Resource Book: This George Washington University (GW) Cancer Center produced resource comes as part of a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funded cooperative agreement awarded to the National AHEC Organization. The goal of this resource is to increase the number of human papillomavirus vaccinations (HPV) among 11 and 12-year old boys and girls as well as administering "catch-up" vaccinations to older adolescents and young adults.
