GPRA Update - March 31, 2017 - Pence
Dear Great Pyrenees Friends,

Pence left the hospital yesterday with our all star foster Robyn and this is what she communicated "Pence is settling in  and is much improved from Monday. He is still breathing heavily but it is not nearly as intense.  He is sweet and affectionate and kind.  He is gorgeous and with another 40 pounds he will be stunning "

A dramatic transformation has occurred and the pain he must have experienced, in his ears alone, are resolving. Much still needs to be accomplished, including removal of both ear canals and heart worm treatment. He will be deaf but we have had plenty of happy deaf PYRS and he is clearly a resilient Gentle Giant.

In just over 24 hours, we have received $8,500 by 72 donors ranging from $10 to $1,000 from as far away as the United Kingdom. GPRA cannot thank you enough for your response so far and we hope to hit our $10,000 goal for Pence in the next 24 hours.

Thank you,

John Heldrich
