Registration Requirements

Beginning April 1, 2017

All Coaches are required to register for the sport you would like to coach. If you have multiple children, you will need to register for each division separately so that when division coordinators run their report your name will be recognized and considered.  There is no cost at this time.

Registering does not guarantee a coaching position.

All Sport Board Member are required to register as a volunteer for their Sport each season if they will not be a coach.

Coaches/Sport Board Volunteers will need to add their individual profile to their family account; including Legal Name, Date of Birth, Address and proper contact information. Your spouse can not register on your behalf.
Class will be on the Second Wednesday @ 7:00pm.

Marlton Chiefs Football

is looking for quality Head Coaches at the following age and Weight levels. We need a Head Coach for the 85lb (7 and 8 year old) and the 65LB (5 and 6 year old).

2017 Rec season 5u-12u scheduled to start 4/1... All games that are cancelled will be rescheduled at the Diamond at Arrowhead Park.

Bat-a-Thon 5/12-5/14. Come join us for a weekend of fun, Home Run hitting contest. And see some of best young talent, as our 8u-12u Travel Teams will be playing all weekend. Volunteers needed please check website to signup and help with this great event.

The MRC is a 100% Volunteer Organization and always looking for good people to keep programs running.

 

Volunteering usually starts at the individual Sport Level and its not always just coaches. Commissioners are often looking for people to help with various operational task.

 

We thank you for your help and dedication of time.

 

 

 

Food For Friends Program
 
 FOOD FOR FRIENDS PROGRAM
 

The MRC has a long standing tradition of helping those in our own area that are in need.
 
Through our individual sports programs we have raised tens of thousands of dollars and food for those less fortunate.
 
At the MRC we strive to help our community and as such we have started a new program.
 
Marlton Rec Council is proud to announce our newly formed Food For Friends program.
 
T his program will provide assistance to folks within our town who need it by continuing to have canned food drives and raise money to purchase food and donate it to local food banks.

For Families on the Run:
  • Tuesday and Wednesday Dinner Delivery Service. A portion of your order will be donated back to the help fund the program.

Special Needs Soccer for ages 5-18
Spring season will start 4/22 and run through 6/3

Players are children, ages 5-18, regardless of skill or ability who want to learn game specific skills and play team oriented sports.

Buddies are teens and young adults who work each week with
the athletes to assist them in learning game specific skills.

Location is Beeler School noon to 1pm

TITLE:                      CIVILIAN TECHNICIAN (Property Officer)              
DEPARTMENT:      Police Department
SALARY:                  $40,000                      
SCHEDULE:           Mon - Fri: 35-hour work-week
                                   
 
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for the handling/safekeeping of all evidence coming into possession of department; handling/safekeeping of all recovered property turned in for secure storage; miscellaneous duties related to evidence collection, inventory, etc. that does not require administration by sworn personnel.
 
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
HS grad/equiv. with post-high school education or degree preferred; knowledge of police department systems and procedures a plus. Must have ability to create and maintain files, databases, forms, reports, receipts, records, etc.
 
SPECIALIZED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
Proficient in use of computers/databases. Familiarity with guidelines established by the New Jersey State Police Special and Technical Services Unit for evidence procedures; familiarity with directive for Recovered Property;
 
BACKGROUND CHECK:
All successful applicants must complete a background investigation prior to receiving an offer of employment. Applicants may be rejected for any of the following:
  • Conviction for an indictable offense; conviction for any crime or offense involving moral turpitude or dishonesty; conviction of any crime or offense involving a firearm; conviction for any crime involving the manufacture/distribution of any controlled substance; conviction of any crime or offense that would subject the applicant to the provision of Megan's Law.
