Did you know that USC Hillel has one of the highest Birthright Israel participation rates in the country? Each year, more and more Jewish Trojans are opting to travel to Israel with USC Hillel. During the 2016-2017 school year, USC Hillel brought over 150 students to Israel, strengthening their connection to Judaism and our Holy Land. As a part of USC Hillels mission to inspire every student to make an enduring connection to Israel, we realize how important it is that students relationship with Israel lasts beyond the conclusion of their trip. To ensure this, USC Hillel hires two students per Birthright bus to serve as Birthright Follow-up Fellows or BFFs. These student leaders, many of whom were not involved with Hillel before their trip, are responsible for providing engaging programs and community for their bus mates when they return to campus. This years follow up programs have included Chopped: Hummus Edition, Israeli BBQs, and Fauda Netflix binges. You can help strengthen our BFF program and ensure Trojans make a lasting connection to Israel by sponsoring a Birthright follow up program during USC Hillels 8 Days of Giving. |
