Port of Oakland Project Overview

Please join the CSI East Bay-Oakland Chapter and ASCE for a joint meeting! The topic will be a project overview of the Port of Oakland’s Outer Harbor Intermodal Terminal (“OHIT”) located at the former Oakland Army base (“OAB”). It will include a brief overview of the Port of Oakland and its operations. Thanh Vuong (Port Supervising Engineer) will present the project scope for the OHIT project, the funding, partners, construction challenges, lessons learned, and project benefits

We are planning this April joint meeting with the ASCE. The POAB project has been going on for years now, with major infrastructure improvements underway and the first new buildings starting construction Stay up to date with this ambitious project:
