Annual Mushroom Hunt

The Ross County Sportsman & Wildlife Club presents their Annual Mushroom Hunt on Saturday, April 22nd. Participants must register at the club and they can hunt on any land with permission. Check in will be at 3pm and plaques award for adults, kids, and biggest & most. 

Archaeology Day 2017

Join the Ross County Heritage Center on Saturday, April 22nd to learn more about Ohio's prehistoric artifacts, rocks and fossils. There will be more than 20 tabletop exhibits, many items from society's collections will be on display including locally-found prehistoric artifacts, fossils and geodes. Found an item? Bring it in and talk with experts during this event about your find. 

Earth Gathering Festival

The annual Earth Gathering Festival takes place on Saturday, April 22nd on the lawn of the Pump House Center for the Arts. During the festival you can enjoy local and regional musicians, food, crafters, products and lots of ideas. This event was designed to entertain, educate and inspire the public about nature, creativity and sustainability through Earth-friendly art. 

A Night at the Sugar Shack

Five great bands performing during the annual Sugar Shack on Saturday, April 22nd. This year's musical line-up is: The Mods, The Sidewalk Foundation, The Wegians, R&B Rhythm, and The Apollos. Pizza, pulled pork sandwiches, snacks & beverages will be available. Proceeds from the show benefit Rock for Tots and the Chillicothe Alumni Association. 

McGuffey Lane

Paxton Theatre will host McGuffey Lane on Saturday, April 22nd as part of their Live & Local Series. Founded in 1972, McGuffey Lane is country rock band from central Ohio. Join the Paxton Theatre for a night of great music and entertainment.
