With temperatures slowly creeping up, we are so excited for spring and can't wait for all the upcoming festivities, including Cravings on Clark, our annual restaurant crawl. Plus, with Easter, Cinco de Mayo, and Mother's Day all coming up, this month's newsletter is jam packed with fun activities happening on the corridor. Tickets are now on sale for Clark Street in Lincoln Park's 4th annual Cravings on Clark restaurant crawl on Wednesday, June 14! Join hungry diners from across Lincoln Park and our neighboring communities to enjoy eclectic samples from each participating restaurant.

Pick-up your culinary passport at HopCat - Chicago at 2577 N. Clark, grab your first bite, and make your way up and down Clark and the south side of Diversey while you enjoy a variety of delicious bite sized dishes. Plus, visit shops and businesses along the way to check out all that Clark Street in Lincoln Park has to offer!

Celebrate the 10th Annual Record Store Day at Dave's Records

Swing by our very own Dave's Records at 2604 N. Clark to celebrate the annual tradition, Record Store Day, and find some sweet deals on tunes. Plus, from 3:00 - 4:00 pm Stonebelly will be performing an acoustic set at for your RSD2017 at Dave's Records. Check out the details below and click here for a list of rules for the event.
  • When: Saturday, April 22. Doors officially open at 10:00 am, but may open earlier. 
  • Price: Free to enter, but item prices vary. Everything is first come first served.

HopCat Chicago Festivities  

Earth Day Festivities
HopCat is partnering with Advocates for Urban Agriculture (AUA), a coalition of individuals, organizations and businesses working to support and expand sustainable agriculture in the Chicago area. Look for the Earth Day logo next to certain beers on their draft menu, and they'll donate $1 of every pint sold to AUA Chicago. The goal is to raise $15,000 between all HopCat locations!

Celebrate Record Store Day!

In honor of Earth Day, the City of Chicago is hosting a Clean and Green Day of Service on Saturday, April 22! Join your neighbors and community organizations in beautifying the 43rd Ward, which includes Clark Street. To find a group to join, call 3-1-1.

Moving Outdoors with Green City Market

With the weather warming up, it's time to kick off Farm ers Market Season in Chicago! The last indoor market for Green City Market will be at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum on Sautrday, April 29. That means on Saturday, May 6 Green City Market is kicking off their first outdoor market from 7:00 am - 1:00pm. Join the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce and other organizations for fun spring activities at the kick-off market. 

The outdoor market is every Wednesday and Saturday through October 28, 2017.
Shop, Sip, and Stroll Along the
Armitage-Halsted Wine Stroll

Tickets are now on sale for the LPCC's  Lincoln Park Uncorked: an Armitage-Halsted Wine Stroll. This new wine stroll, on Thursday, May 11, will take place in businesses along Armitage from Kenmore to Halsted, and on Halsted from Armitage to Dickens. Attendees will stroll through participating shops, restaurants, and service businesses for wine samples, snacks, and to learn more about the amazing shops along the historic Lincoln Park corridor. The National Shrine of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini Turns 100!

Celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the National Shrine of Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini. The shrine contains the chapel, a garden, and exhibit rooms, including the room where St. Frances Xavier Cabrini died on December 22, 1917. Located at 2520 N. Lakeview, the Shrine is a great family experience.
