Message from the President

Greetings!

The Fayette Chamber is an implementation partner to execute the tactics laid out in Fayette Visioning's 5-year strategic plan. Last year, the Chamber took the lead on the Fayette Visioning goal to establish a countywide branding initiative, with the intent to increase economic development, attract talent and build community cohesiveness. All of the local governments chipped in along with the Fayette County Development Authority, Peachtree City Convention & Visitors Bureau as well as Georgia Power, Panasonic and other business and industry partners.

A community-wide task force made up of economic development and marketing experts was set up to oversee the process. The task force selected marketing agency DCI to develop the plan and the brand mark. After months of research on perceptions and best practices, DCI's work will soon be complete. The Chamber will consider the recommendations for talent attraction and the Fayette County Development Authority will consider the recommendations for economic development.

After a presentation to stakeholders next week, the community will start seeing the new look and hearing about the ideas outlined in the plan soon after.  We are excited about this endeavor and look forward to getting the word out about what makes Fayette County great.

We will begin accepting applications for Leadership Fayette one week from today.  You will find details below.  We are looking forward to starting this incredible program back up in August.
