Rauschenberg Fellowship
We're excited to announce that the Echoes project has been granted the 2-year Robert Rauschenberg Foundation's Artist-as-Activist fellowship.  We'll be joining a powerful cohort of artists from around the country, all working on the subject of racial justice through the lens of mass incarceration.  The funding will allow us to broaden into new directions, and help us transition towards the production of a feature documentary.

Liberation Summer Camp

We coming off an amazing summer where we teamed-up again with the American Friends Service Committee, and co-lead the Liberation Summer camp. 14 awesome campers came together to learn filmmaking, as well as study the criminal justice and immigration systems.
We created 3 new films in our Resiliency Stories project that we're extremely proud of, and which can be viewed here:
Mamie Baugh: One Time

And our final wrap-up video HERE.

Many thanks to the Sills Family Foundation and many individual donors who made the camp possible.
Free filmmaking workshops for schools and agencies, new job opportunities

We're resuming our free workshops in high schools, foster care agencies, and non profit organizations in NYC.

We'll also be recruiting new youth producers our next cohort (this is a paid internship). Please contact us here if you're with a school interested in a workshop, or if you know a young person interested in applying to join our next crew.

We're also launching some exciting new projects and collaborations this fall, which we'll announce soon. Stay tuned...

Please contact us with questions, ideas or feedback, and thank you for your support!
Sincerely,
-Jeremy and the Echoes Crew
