Preaching this Sunday
Tom Petter, TCC's Senior Pastor, will preach this Sunday. His sermon title is: "Who do you say that I am? Grace Service Provider" and is based on scripture found in Nehemiah 9:15-21 and in John 6:26-41.

Announcements

Easter Lilies - Envelopes available
Donate an Easter lily to celebrate Christ's Resurrection, or in loving memory, honor or celebration of someone special in your life. We would love to fill the services on Easter Sunday with their elegance, beautiful scent and significance.  The cost is $10 dollars, and you can take one home after the last service.  Please fill out an envelope at the Connection Hub on Sunday.

Teddy Sayonkon Foundation
Teddy Sayonkon is flying to Liberia today, March 23 to distribute school supplies, shoes, and clothing. With the donations
received from TCC and elsewhere, 8 barrels were loaded and shipped in advance to Liberia. Teddy will visit schools and churches to give these latest supplies to needy youngsters and students and share the Gospel message in his personal way. He thanks everyone for their generous donations of supplies and financial support to make this trip possible. We pray for his safety, effectiveness, and ability to open new doors and hearts as he combines this important humanitarian work with the message of love and salvation through Jesus.

Emmanuel Gospel Center (EGC) Fundraiser April 8
EGC is holding their annual fundraiser, this year's theme "Hearts on Fire," at Florian Hall in Dorchester on April 8, 2017, from 5-8 PM. For more information, please click here.

Does Anyone Need a Large Set of Dishes?
We've been blessed with multiple full sets of dishes in our kitchen and pantry.  We're currently trying to pare down and have 3 full set of dishes, cups, saucers, bowls and small dishes.  We have another set of 37 dishes, bowls, and salad plates.  Does anyone know of a family, or group in need?  If not, we will be donating them to Household Goods Recycling of Massachusetts ( http://www.hgrm.org/). Please contact Nancy Griffin at [email protected].

Storage Issues... Please Do Not Leave Us Your Extra or Unwanted Items!
We need your help in order to stay organized!  While we appreciate your generosity, TCC does not need your extra or unwanted dishes, vases, books, etc.  However there are many wonderful places that would love your donations, one of which is in Acton - Household Goods Recycling of Massachusetts ( http://www.hgrm.org/).  We have referred a number of people to this program both as donors and as recipients.

Volunteer Opportunities

TCC runs on volunteers! Please visit the TCC "How to Serve" webpage at http://www.tccwayland.org/serve.php for more information.   Here are a few current opportunities:

Additional Ushers Still Needed...
Our mission:   To welcome every visitor and member to the house of God!

What is needed : Ushers are absolutely critical in helping newcomers form their first impression of TCC. You help set the tone for the worship experience to come. You are representatives of God's kingdom.  You're not just opening doors, providing information, handing out bulletins or collecting the offering, you are making people feel welcome!

Could you help ONE  Sunday morning a month?  Please contact Debbie Wilson at [email protected] or 508-358-7717.

Volunteer Offering Counters Needed ...
Are you accurate and reliable?  Volunteers count the weekly offering (mostly checks for deposit) each Sunday, and we are in need of new helpers.  Offering counters work in pairs.  Contact Aimee Mury at [email protected] or 508- 358-7717, x303 if this might be a way you could help us.  Training provided!

Coffee Hour needs YOU!
If you enjoy having a cup of coffee while chatting with others between Sunday services, please sign-up (alone or with your Small Group) to host a coffee hour!   You don't even have to provide snacks - just make, set up and then clean up the coffee and tea ! ( Easy instructions provided - click here to see what is involved!)
Participation gives you and your group an opportunity to serve the Lord and is greatly appreciated by your fellow members.
Please sign up at the Connection Hub this Sunday or contact Robin Spinale, our new Coffee Hour Coordinator at [email protected]!

The TCC Food Pantry, "Loaves & Fishes" offers assistance to those of TCC and the surrounding community who need help with providing for themselves and their family.  If you are in need, or if you know of someone who is in need, please feel free to visit the church office for assistance from the food pantry.  The food pantry is open on Sunday mornings and during regular church office hours.

Donations to the TCC "Loaves & Fishes" Food Pantry are gratefully accepted.  There is a collection bin on a table near the lobby stairwell.  We only accept donations of non-perishable food and personal items.  WE RESPECTFULLY ASK YOU NOT TO DONATE ANY OPEN OR EXPIRED ITEMS - WE JUST HAVE TO THROW THEM AWAY!

TOP ITEMS NEEDED:
Hamburger Helper
Tuna Helper
Misc. Meals-in-a-Box
Canned Veggies
Canned Fruits

If you have any questions regarding donations, contact Diane or David Newcomb at [email protected] or [email protected]
