Welcome to County Kildare Chamber Newsletter
27th March, 2017
Weekly Newsletter kindly sponsored by Punchestown Racecourse

County Kildare Chamber has requested an urgent meeting with Minister Simon Coveney TD to discuss the recent issue of the proposed valuation certificates for Reval 2017 in Kildare.  Allan Shine, CEO of the Chamber said, " Our members are reporting huge increases in rates with this new valuation system. In some cases the rate levy will be higher that the rent on properties. This is unacceptable and we have members throughout the county who have informed our offices that they are now facing increases in excess of 300%.

Last week County Kildare Chamber had it's first Corporate Partners Dinner in the picturesque Cliff at Lyons in Celbridge. The team in Cliff at Lyons provided our members with a tour of their rural idyll, followed by a beautiful meal in the hotel's Orangery. All food in the hotel is locally sourced with inspiration for menus taken from the estate's environment. The evening, enjoyed by all, showcased why Cliff at Lyons is a perfect location for hosting corporate events of all sizes.
