 Last year, we began to engage conversations regarding our calendar and the timing of exams at LFHS. The feedback was extremely helpful. Although we made a decision to focus on the implementation of our new school day and temporarily place the conversations on hold, we are ready to re-engage this work. We plan to make a decision about the timing of exams by the end of this school-year, for implementation during the 2018-19 school-year.
We are seeking feedback from students, staff and parents as a first step in our decision-making process. We will share survey results with you and hold stakeholder meetings later this spring.

LFHS Alumni Wall of Fame Induction Ceremony to be held Friday, April 7!

 Three new inductees will be added to the Alumni Wall of Fame and will be announced to the public on Friday, April 7.
The Alumni Wall of Fame recognizes the outstanding contributions of former students of Lake Forest High School and to inspire and offer role models for its current students. Lake Forest High School has graduated thousands of students who have entered professions and careers in a wide variety of fields including the areas of business, medicine, science, education, public service, the arts, entertainment, and sports.
This award is funded by the Lake Forest High School, the Association of Parents and Teachers (APT), and the Senior Class.

Reminder! When scheduling your child's physical over the summer, be sure to take along a copy of the
Medication Authorization Form for the physician to sign. This form must be turned in annually and is necessary if you anticipate your child will need any prescription or non-prescription medication (e.g. Tylenol, Ibuprofen) during the school day. No medication may be dispensed without this authorization on file. If you need a copy, this form can be downloaded from the LFHS web page under Student Services/Health Services or you may contact the Health Office at

The luncheon, which also features a silent auction and raffle, will be held on April 19th from 11 am to 2 pm. Luncheon reservations can be made online at
lfhsfoundation.org. All proceeds will be used to fund academic grants for the 2017-2018 school year.

Project Safe Prom raises funds to provide safe, reliable transportation for LFHS students to and from the Prom venue. Each year, Lake Forest High School parents, alumni, and community members demonstrate their commitment by donating to this campaign. The Junior Class also contributes from their own class monies to this cause.
