Count the Votes With NPR's Healthcare Vote Tracker
official portraits of Congress
It's down to the wire for the American Health Care Act, the Republican-authored bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act. NPR's Visuals team, in collaboration with WNYC, has created a tool for the political junkies among us -- a vote tracker. You can see how Oklahoma's Congressional members are leaning and view estimates on how slim the margin is for passage or defeat. The vote tracker will be updated as new information comes in, and as the votes are cast in each house.

KGOU Spring Fund Drive: Listener Power!
KGOU's ability to inform, engage, enlighten and entertain has always resided in its community of supporters. Listeners who are willing to contribute financially are a powerful force -- thank you for making KGOU's news coverage and programs go!

At a time when the news moves fast, listener support allows our reporters to go where the story leads. And as state revenue to our parent university has been cut, and cut again, contributions from listeners play an increasing role in keeping KGOU fiscally strong. As our Spring Fund Drive gets underway, consider how you can help keep KGOU powered up.

IQ2US Debate On Charter Schools: Are They Overrated?
Intelligence Squared Debates
In the past two decades charter schools have become a highly sought-after alternative to public education. Many of these publicly funded but privately operated schools boast high test scores, strict academic expectations, and high graduation rates. Opponents cite less oversight and accountability. Intelligence Squared U.S. brings us an Oxford-style debate about charter schools as KGOU's Sunday Radio Matinee on March 26 at 12 p.m.
