BIDDING OPENS MONDAY, MARCH 27 for all SILENT AUCTION ITEMS!
The excitement has reached a fever pitch and we are anxious for the 15th Annual SCCS Auction on Saturday, April 1st. Tickets are going fast and the RSVP deadline is Friday, March 24th. Click here if you still need to order tickets or call the SCCS Development Office at 419-627-9422.
 
This year we will be featuring mobile bidding on silent auction items (attendance at the event is required to bid on all live auction items). For guests already registered, you will be receiving a text message on Monday, March 27th providing a link to preview all of the silent and live auction items AND begin bidding on over 150 silent auction items, including a Kalahri Safari party for 10 with pizza, party room and full access passes!
 
If you cannot attend the event, but are interested in bidding on silent auction items, you can sign up by clicking here.
 
All bidding will be done through your cell phone or computer. You can bid from anywhere, anytime before the close of the auction on Saturday, April 1st (approximately 9:30pm). You even get an update if you are outbid!
 
3 ways to bid on silent auction items beginning on Monday, March 27th:

By Smartphone: Click the link in your registration text. It will take you to a personal bidding page. Click on an item and place a bid, it's that simple.

By Text: Text the  3 digit item number and amount to the welcome message you receive, (i.e. 101 500), no dollar signs or decimals are needed.

By Computer: Click on an item and place a bid.
 
Doors open at 4:45pm, dinner begins at 6:00pm with the live auction starting at 7:00pm. Sponsorship and donation opportunities are also available, please call Emily Kasper in the SCCS Advancement and Development Office for details at 419.627.9422. APRIL 1 PARENTS NIGHT OUT
On Saturday, April 1, during the SCCS "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" Auction, the SMCC Cheerleaders are hosting a Parents Night Out, from 5:00pm-10:00pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. There is a $20 donation per family, and all children ages 3-12 are welcome. Students will partake in various activities throughout the evening, such as games, crafts, stories, dancing, and there will be a special visit from Cleveland Indians mascot Slider!

At 8:00pm we will quiet down with a group prayer and watch a movie on the big screen. Feel free to bring a water bottle with your child's name on it and a sleeping bag/pillow/blanket for the movie.  Please have children picked up promptly at 10:00pm. Click here for a registration form.

ENROLLMENT DEADLINE
Just a reminder if you have not sent in your enrollment postcard, please send it in as soon as possible.  If we receive the postcard by Friday, March 31, and the $200 family enrollment fee for students entering grades K-12, the fee will be applied to the 2017-2018 tuition balance. SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS NEEDED
Have you ever considered becoming a substitute teacher? Did you know you only need a Bachelor's Degree in order to obtain your license? If you are interested in becoming a substitute teacher at SCCS, please email Lois Walsh at [email protected] for more information.

SPRING BUS DRIVERS NEEDED

GOOD SHEPHERD TEACHER TRAINING THIS SUMMER
The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a faith formation experience for children 3-12 years old. It is based upon the belief that young children can and do experience God. This summer, there will be a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level 1 Formation Course offered at Holy Angels, for those interested in teaching. TLC NEEDS YOUR POP TABS                    
The TLC class is collecting pop can tabs to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. The collection will run now through April 9. You can drop pop tabs off in the container outside of the PPC.

PRESCHOOL & ELEMENTARY NEWS
 
INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES ACT
According to state law, SCCS must provide our preschool families with information about the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Part C Assessments and Screenings. 
  
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION AND SCREENING
Any families that will be enrolling a student in SCCS kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year are encouraged to submit their enrollment forms as soon as possible. In order to be screened, your child must be officially enrolled in kindergarten for next year. This includes all forms and the $200 registration fee.  Screening dates are April 27 and 28. EDCHOICE SCHOLARSHIP RENEWALS
Any family who is currently receiving the EdChoice Scholarship should have received the renewal paperwork in the mail. If you have not received your renewal forms, or have questions about applying for the income- based scholarship, please contact Mrs. Snow at [email protected] or 419-626-1892, ext. 311. The first application deadline is April 30, 2017.
