NYCLA's Litigation Before the United States Tax Court (Part I)
Part 1 of NYCLA's Practice Before the United States Tax Court is designed the teach the NYCLA and LITC volunteers how to (a) read a notice of deficiency, (b) prepare and review Tax Court pleadings, (c) make and respond to motions directed to the pleadings, (d) draft and respond to discovery and discovery motions, and (e) negotiate a stipulation of facts. There is no charge to attend the seminar. Attendees are encouraged to volunteer to represent a pro bono taxpayer in connection with NYCLA's U.S. Tax Court Calendar Call Pro Bono Program.
