County Commission Chair Visits the Chamber
This week, Hillsborough County Commission
Chairman Stacy White met with the Chamber's Board of Directors to discuss the county's priorities, including the 800 million set aside for transportation improvements over the next ten years, land use coordination, and the need for regional and local communication on all transportation projects.
The Chamber continues to support the need for additional funding sources to meet the transportation needs of Tampa Bay.

Hillsborough Day During 2017 Legislative Session
Wednesday was Hillsborough Day in Tallahassee. Representatives from the community and local elected officials traveled to the capitol to meet with delegation members and to highlight Hillsborough. Pirates from Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla were in the courtyard to hand out over 1,000 Cuban sandwiches, and performers from Busch Gardens and animals from Lowry Park Zoo were on hand to show all that Hillsborough County has to offer.
