Dale Williams, the executive director of
Midnight Run, was homeless in New York City between 1987 and 1990. As he said,
"My first contact with Midnight Run came one night 23 years ago when a car pulled up along the Central Park West bench where I was sleeping. A couple approached and said, 'Hi, we're from Midnight Run.'" Hear him share his journey with us.
Bet Torah's annual Midnight Run is our way of helping the homeless in Manhattan. We travel by bus at night into the city to deliver much needed food and clothing to those who are less fortunate. Our Run offers teens the opportunity to have real interaction with the homeless.
