We have got a great opportunity to invite new people to SSBC. Please help us get the word out this week about our "Spring Revival" - Don't forget it begins this Sunday morning, April 2 and runs through Wednesday, April 5. We would appreciate so very much your inviting and calling friends and family. Also, we have material that you can share on your Facebook page or any other social media outlets. Please also be in prayer for these services and our speakers: David Lovering and Big Lee McBride! God bless you and thank you for your help.
Prayer for Revival Services
Dear Heavenly Father -Your grace and mercy continues to abound here at Smiths Station Baptist. We praise You and thank You for continuing to save souls as we continue to do our part by inviting and telling people about the love of Jesus Christ. We thank You in advance for how your Holy Spirit is going to show up each night as you do a supernatural work in hearts of people! The love You have for us and the sacrifice of Your Son is our hope and our joy! We have tried our best to prepare ourselves for next week and we continue to invite You into our midst as we know that you are going to do a great work. Our prayer even before our "Spring Revival" begins is that hearts get clean and sin is taken care of before we enter the worship center. We ask that you would grip our hearts today and convict and move within them so we make this a priority. God we ask that you would give us the desire and passion for Your work here in Smiths Station, Phenix City, and the greater Columbus area! We pray you would open our church doors and our sanctuary would be "haven" for Your Spirit so people from all walks of life may come in and fill Your love. We ask a hedge of Your protection around these walls. Keep the darkness and distractions away. Let this be a place of salvation and restoration and Your people answering the burden You placed on their hearts and the calling You have given them! Break our hearts! Purify us! Comfort the broken down and trodden! Rescue the sinners! Set everyone on a firm foundation! Your gospel preached! Sinners saved! Christians sanctified! May your Holy Spirit meet with us each tonight and cause this place to be a force of Your power and goodness. Make this place tremble with Your presence and with Your holy and awesome character. Be with Your Speakers: David Lovering and Big Lee McBride! Give their hearts and minds clarity. Let them simply do your work. Hide them behind the message of Your cross. Anoint them with Your grace and power and let them be an instrument of Your goodness! Father we recognize that we need You. We understand that without Your will in our lives that we are fruitless and have no impact on Your kingdom work. We only want to please You and be about kingdom building. Let this revival be a stepping stone for Smiths Station Baptist as we go into a greater season of worship and service! We give these services to You and trust You with them. We know Your promises and we claim them this day! We give You praise for what You have done and what You are going to do! I ask all these things in Your Son's holy and precious name. Amen
Annie Armstrong Emphasis
I want to especially thank our WMU Ladies for doing a great job with their "Annie Armstrong Easter Offering" presentation on Wednesday night. God bless each of you for your hard work and preparation. Please consider praying about what you will give this year to this special offering - 100% of the money goes to North American Missionaries like the Rager family. Barry and Amy Rager are church planters in the inner-city neighborhood of Indianapolis. Over 41.5% of its residents do not have a high school diploma. It is also the 17th most dangerous neighborhood in the United States. Please give so they can continue to reach these people. There are nearly 259 million people in the United States and Canada who do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The money we give to the Annie Armstrong Offering helps our missionaries reach these people. Please give so we can reach our goal of $3,500. Ingathering will be on April 9th.
Blessings,
David

Education Matters
Can you believe that Revival is a few days away? So many details and so much spiritual work to do on the front end. Before I can help anyone else spiritually, though, I have to make sure I'm squared:
_Am I squared up with God?
_Am I squared up with the wife?
_Am I squared up with individual members?
_Am I squared up with the neighbors?
Before God can work the way He wants to, we need to be right with people.

Children's Ministry
Easter Egg Hunt is April 9th right after Worship.
Meet in the Gym. Lunch is grilled dogs and brats.
Hey kids, here's a few jokes that are so corny, my wife
won't let me tell anymore:
1 What is a teddy bear's favorite drink?
Koka-Koala!
2 Why do dogs bury bones in the ground?
Because they cannot bury them in trees!
3 What birds spend all their time on their knees ?
Birds of Prey!

What a busy week we have coming up in the life of our church! We will be back in Studio 412 tomorrow night continuing our study through the Gospel According to Matthew. We will go to Launch Trampoline Park this Saturday at 3:00-4:30 in Columbus! If your student is interested in going be sure to be at Launch by 2:50with $20 for admission and extra cash for socks and snacks. Also, next week is the church's New Beginnings Conference. Wednesday the 5th will be focused on our students! Following the service, there will be pizza and games in Studio 412. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me! This is a fun and exciting time in our church; let's be sure to take advantage of this season of ministry!
Glory to God!

Senior Adult Ministry
Our WMU ladies (mostly senior adults) are so faithful in their mission--which is keeping SSBC focused on missions, both foreign and home and missions right here in our own back yard. Thank you WMU ladies! We enjoyed your program Wednesday night and hope each and every member of our Church will give generously to Annie Armstrong.
We had 60 folks at our Fish Fry Saturday night. Thank you Clayton Parrish, Jerry Harp, and David Cox for braving the heat to cook our fish. Thank you all who brought side dishes, condiments, and desserts, etc.--and a special thank you to Tana Strain who decorated our gym with Jackie Long and other Senior Adult committee members.
Hope you will not miss our Easter music on April 9th. Ms Barbara has another winner on her hands.
