Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Training May 22-24, 2017

The South Bend Police Department will be hosting a 3-day CISM training conducted by Jerry Baker on May 22-24, 2017.  The Cost is $175.00 

This training session is taught by an  ICISF (International Critical Incident Stress Foundation) certified instructor.  Trainees will receive two certificates for successful completion of this training.  Training qualifies for ILEA CEU's and participants will be provided a training roster upon completion.

Employee Assistance Specialist-Clinical EAS-C 
Training - Save the Date! 
October 20, 2017

New Avenues Employee Assistance Program will be sponsoring this training on October 20th, details will follow. 

The EAS-C is a role -specific training designed for mental health professionals who contract with EAP Companies to provide employee assistance services with employers, employees and their families. 

To qualify for the EAS-C course, you must 
  • Hold a master's degree or above in an EAP-related field; 
  • Be licensed for independent clinical practice according to applicable laws
  • Practice within the United States.

MBHN encourages appropriate use of behavioral health benefits and monitors utilization levels (where MBHN provides Utilization Management) for consistency with regional and national benchmarks. New Avenues prohibits any incentives for staff, peer reviewers, and providers that encourage lower utilization or barriers to care.
