Seven Boston Artists Receive Creative City Grants

Creative City, which supports art projects of all genres that engage directly with Bostonians in their neighborhoods,  awards seven new artist projects. The awards total $70,000. Projects take place throughout 2017.

Twelve Artists Receive New England Dance Grants

We are delighted to announce 12 new artist recipients of the New England Dance FundNow in its second year, the Fund will distribute $25,000 to New England choreographers through two application rounds. The next deadline to apply for the New England Dance Fund is September 8, 2017.

Mellon Foundation Awards National Theater Project

National Theater Project (NTP)  has been awarded  a three-year $3,770,000 grant by  The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation . This grant will allow NTP to continue to support the  development and touring of artist-led, ensemble, and devised theater works. 

NTP is also pleased to welcome three new advisors.

Come together with a curated group of regional and national artists and presenters who bring diverse perspectives on dance practice and presentation to address pressing questions in the field of dance through a panel discussion and interactive conversation. REGISTER TODAY

4.25.17 | Demystifying Taxes for Artists with Sunlight Tax
 

This free workshop will be led by Hannah Cole, visual artist and tax agent for Sunlight Tax, and is open to NEST-eligible artists and Creative City grantees. REGISTER BY 4.14

The Idea Swap is an annual event for New England-based nonprofit cultural organizations to network and share tour project ideas that may qualify for funding from NEFA's Expeditions grant program.
