MAY 2017 CALL TO ARTISTS 
May's theme, the "Divine Feminine", revolves around the empowerment of women through honest expression, speaking from the heart.
Entries this month must be inspired by women and the feminine spirit.
One entry per artist. All media accepted, 2D and 3D.
EXHIBIT JUDGE:  Deborah Rolig
Prizes awarded for first place: $125, second place: $100, third place: $75, and 3 honorable mentions. 

DROP OFF: Sunday April 30 from 2-4PM, Monday May 1 from 10AM-12PM  
PICK UP: Sunday May 28 from 2-4PM, Monday May 29 from 10AM-12PM 
 
ENTRY FEE: $10 per entry for members, $15 for non members
 
EXHIBIT DATES: May 1-27 
with opening reception on the Friday May 5 from 5-9PM (extended hours) 
ELIGIBILITY: Artist must be 18 years or older. Artists may submit one piece of original artwork. Work must be never before shown at an ALOC judged show. All hanging artwork must be securely framed and properly wired for hanging. The maximum outside frame dimensions may not exceed 32"x40". Please  click here for complete entry requirements. 
 
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The ALOC has the right to refuse any artwork that does not meet its exhibit criteria. Artwork will be displayed on a space available basis.

The Art League of Ocean City is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the visual arts to the community through education, exhibits, scholarship programs and public service projects. Financial support comes primarily through membership dues from individuals and corporate sponsors.
