Principal's Message

Parents,

Welcome back from Spring Break!  I hope you all enjoyed rest and relaxation with family and friends.  Now that we are back in school and state testing is approaching, we hope you will recommit to having your child in school, on time every day.  We have a lot of work to do this trimester and no amount of substitute work can replace direct instruction and collaboration among peers.  Please save those trips and appointments for summer break so that your child receives all the important instruction our teachers have planned.  Thank you.

Also, next Tuesday's PTA meeting will include a presentation from our Kindergarten Team on Guided Reading and we will have babysitting available.

Carol Nenni
Murwood Principal
From the Office

Welcome back - we hope you all enjoyed some fun over the Spring Break!

A few reminders to help keep our little ones safe as we get back into the swing of things:
  • Please refrain from cell phone use, or any driving distractions, while maneuvering the school parking lot
  • Please adhere to California state law on child car restraints and seatbelts
  • Please be respectful of our Vanderslice neighbors by not blocking adjacent driveways and streets during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up
