"Hello --  I wanted to write to you all a note of thanks for the fine place to stay while we were in Indiana. We are from Montana & our 17-year-old son was flown to IU Simon Cancer Center when his cancer returned. 

We have [two] daughters & we flew to Indiana. It was so wonderful having a place to stay while Luke was in the hospital. It was especially nice that we could walk back & forth to the hospital. It was such a comfortable place!! The kitchens and laundry room were wonderful. We were soooo grateful for the Ronald McDonald House. Thank you."

The lights are up, the nutcrackers are out and the trees are decorated. You know what that means: the holidays are in full swing at the House!

Recently, we held our annual Home for the Holidays Open House on #GivingTuesday and it was a heartwarming success. While families enjoyed the hot cocoa, pictures with Santa and voting in our 2nd annual Deck the House Tree Competition, you were hard at work giving the gift of togetherness to our families. 

Together, we raised more than $36,000 on #GivingTuesday! That $36,000 gives families like Kimberly Bennett and one-year-old Waylon Powers a place to call home while Waylon continues to go through chemotherapy to treat his brain tumor.  Learn more about Waylon's story and how much your gift helps here.

As 2017 comes to a close, we want to make sure that we're doing all that we can to continue to help families like Kimberly and Waylon. In just 2017 alone, they have served as the  presenting partner for our annual golf tournament, made meals for our families and completed service volunteer projects.

Donate Your Old Car or Vehicle for RMHCCIN!
If you think that old car in your driveway isn't worth much, think again. By donating your car, truck, boat, or RV to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana, you can help provide families with a "home-away-from-home" and keep them together during the hospitalization of a seriously ill child.

Plus, when you make a vehicle donation before the end of the year you will receive a tax deduction on your 2018 tax return. Here's how:


1) Donate your used car, truck, boat or RV by visiting onecarhelpsrmhc.com or calling (855) 426-2477.

2) Insurance Auto Auctions (IAA) picks up the vehicle at no cost to you.

3) Your vehicle is sold at an auction.

4) You get the sales receipt to file for a tax deduction.

Calling all Cooks: January Meal Groups Needed!
We are in need of meal groups for both our House at Limestone (located on the IUPUI campus) and our House located inside Riley. RMHCCIN welcomes meal groups on a one-time or reoccurring basis. Additional dinner dates and meal group guidelines can be found here .

Prepare A Freezer Meal
Help fill our freezers to feed RMHCCIN families when we have a cancellation or do not have a meal group pre-scheduled. You bring the ingredients and a disposable pan - we provide the kitchen and utensils. Recipes can range from soups and casseroles to something as easy as a pasta bake! This is a great team-building opportunity that can be scheduled at a time convenient for your group.
