  • Recycling Drive Results: 124.9 lbs. of recyclable material collected!
Congratulations 1st Grade, you have won a free dress day! The class that gathers the most for the year wins a pizza party in June. The proceeds from the recycling program helps the Scholarship Fund, let's all work together to fill the bin by the end of the year!

  • Children's Author, Scott Sussman 12-3 pm: Monday, March 27th

Children's author, Scott Sussman, will be on campus talking to our students about his love for reading and writing. His plan is to sign any book your child purchases at that time. If you have any questions feel free to contact Mrs. Gardiner. Click the link to view his books


  • Battery Contest is coming to an end: Thursday, April 6th

Christ Lutheran collected the second most alkaline batteries during last year's Battery Recycling Program. A total of 1,073 pounds of batteries were diverted from landfills and recycled! Additionally, a reward of $600 was received from the Costa Mesa Sanitary District. Please bring your batteries to the school office, no later than Thursday, April 6th. Thank you for your recycling efforts!

  • Last Parents' Night Out Of The School Year: Saturday, April 1st

You (and your kiddos) won't want to miss out on the final "PNO" of the 2016-17 school year! Babysitting services, including supervised play and games, a snack, and a movie are provided by 8th grade students, 8th grade parents, and 8th grade teacher Mrs. Jordan.  Donations graciously accepted and go toward the 8th grade spring trip to Washington D.C.

  • Coin Drive Week - Led By Student Council: April 3rd-7th

As a reminder, the coin drive has been rescheduled to April 3-7. Student Council will use the money raised from the coin drive to fund an all school service project (TBD). The prize for the class with the most pennies (not cancelled out by silver coins) will win a pizza and ice cream party hosted by StuCo. Please remind your kids to save up their coins! Questions?   • OCLSA Art Fest 2017 5-8 pm @ Orange Lutheran: Friday, April 7th 
Celebrate the work of young artists! Students, families, and friends are invited to view the artwork from 5-8 pm on Friday, April 7th, 2017. Cookies, punch, and coffee will be provided. The reception is an open-house / gallery-opening style event with no set program. 

  • PTL Skate Night 6:00-8:30 pm: Wednesday, April 12th

Let's Go Roller Skating!!! Come support this Christ Lutheran School fundraising skating party at Fountain Valley Skating Center. Admission is only $6.25 (skate rental included). Hope to see you all there!


  • Way Of The Cross 9:00-10:45 am: Thursday, April 13th

The Way of the Cross is a time of worship and reflection. The eighth grade class will lead tours that take a person on a walk from Palm Sunday to Easter morning. It is a time of worship and reflection of what our Lord Jesus did for us that first Holy Week. Come join us for this special re-enactment. Meet in the Plaza in front of the large cross between 9:00 and 10:45 am on Maundy Thursday, March 13th.

  • Easter Play Day 12:00-2:00 pm: Saturday, April 16th
A free, fun-filled day of Easter festivities to celebrate our Risen King! Activities: pony rides, face painting, inflatables, crafts, games, snack bar, and of course...Egg Hunts! Help needed: if you are willing to donate plastic eggs filled with candy (no chocolate), please bring them to the drop boxes in the school office or church narthex by Monday, April 10. Questions?
