Worship This Weekend
FCC Stained Glass

The Sunday you've been waiting for is just a couple days away!  Our Chancel Choir, accompanied by orchestra and featuring a song with the Children's Choir, will present, "Wonder," a musical!   About the concert, Holly Irvin, our Director of Music, says, " Although much about our world seems filled with darkness, danger, and uncertainty, we have the certain hope that a light shines in the darkness -- and darkness has not overcome it. This season may you embrace and celebrate the true wonder of Christmas, believing that because of God's great love and light in Jesus Christ, anything is possible!"

The narration is written by Dorothy Sallee.  Thank you, Dorothy, and a thank you to all who are involved in the production!

Please gather after the 9:00 service in the Centrum for our annual Tasting Party!  It is sure to be a tasty experience, and you might find some time to catch up with a friend or two, or to welcome a visitor.

Attending the One and All Service?  Come a bit early for the Tasting Party (it starts at 9:45) and relax a bit.  One and All starts at 10:30 this Sunday.  Bring your Tasting Party goodies along with you to Fellowship Hall -- we will even have tables set up for ease of enjoyment!

We are blessed once again this Sunday to have a guest speaker at One and All.  This time Jeff Courtright will give us a, "Crèche course on the Nativity Scene."  We are sure to learn something interesting about nativity scenes around the world and some history of this Christmas tradition.  Music will be a big part of the service, with the One and All Band playing some meaningful seasonal tunes.

The second candle of Advent, the Candle of Peace, will be lit in both services.

A message about Gifts for Another Table:
In December we will replenish the items that we sometimes distribute to those who are in need of a non-perishable single-serving item when they drop by the church office.  Needed are microwaveable meals and pull-top cans of soup.
Don't Miss It

Reminders
Things to Do While
You Are at Church

Pick up an Advent Devotional in the Narthex, at the Information Center, or on the table outside Fellowship Hall.

Choose a tag on the Adopt-A-Family tree. Our Reach Out Ministry invites you to look for the Christmas tree in the Centrum this Sunday. Choose a tag for a gift to give to a family in need.

Bring a new or gently used donation for the Start Fresh ministry.  Items to bring for this men's prison clothing ministry include coats, scarves, hats, and gloves.

Check In on Facebook while you are at church.  And at the One and All service feel free to use your device for social media, to share photos and thoughts about your worship experience as it happens.

Make a new friend!  Greet a visitor.  Show folks around and help them with questions they might have.  Invite them to worship and/or to share fellowship over a cup of coffee or breakfast treat.  The bulletin is a great source of information for visitors, as is the Information Center.  Let's be a welcoming church!

Everything we do and every choice we make have significance for our spiritual life.  We cannot dismiss the small stuff in our lives as inconsequential; everything has a consequence.
