Refugees, Immigrants, & the Church: How Your Church Can Be Involved
Come and learn from professional resettlement agencies and other organizations that assist in the refugee resettlement process Saturday, June 3, at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Richmond, VA. Hear stories from resettled families who are now at home in Virginia. Hands-on seminars will expose you to a multitude of opportunities for your church and this vital ministry. Cost is $25 per church (no participant limit).

World Hunger Funds Program
The BGAV Hunger Ministry supports ongoing and project-based hunger ministries in communities throughout Virginia by providing supplemental funding for our churches, associations, and ministry partners.
Your church can apply for assistance! Requests will now be processed and disbursed on a quarterly basis, according to the schedule available online.

Sharing Nets, Planting Churches
Four teams of volunteers have traveled to Ghana recently with More Than Nets. As part of our partnership with the Ghana Baptist Convention, they have distributed mosquito nets and planted churches.
Since the partnership started, teams have handed out about 80,000 chemically-treated mosquito nets and planted 280 churches in local villages. Our goal of providing 100,000 nets and planting 345 churches in local villages is in sight.

Applications for college scholarships and ministerial education funds are now open!
Through Cooperative Missions offerings, the BGAV provides these opportunities for eligible Virginia Baptist students who need aid in financing their education. BGAV Scholarships and Ministerial Education Funds can help students earn an undergraduate degree, pursue undergraduate or graduate education in preparation for vocational ministry, or access training and continuing education opportunities. The deadline is April 1.

BGAV Ministry Equipping Network! The network provides distance learning courses in children's, youth, and family ministries. Your leaders can take courses in the areas they need training, or make a longer-term investment and complete a Ministry Certification.
